不能來的同學要在 sprint15 結束後的 24 小時內以文字形式提交自己的 sprint15(復盤結果及下個 sprint 的目標)。

Cheers!

Objective

Hello guys~ We’re here again to announce something new and to encourage you to participate~

You might have heard about a company doing a project with sprints. It’s like a short speed-run, or to say a short-term goal. We came up with this idea to motivate you based on this.

“Sprint2Strive”: On a bi-weekly basis, we set goals for ourselves based on our ability, every two weeks we will have a ‘sprint15’ review session to go over your goals and set the next sprint goal.

“sprint15”: a 15-minute review session on Discord. Our goal is to make sure you complete what you say you will (not to compare). If you made it, then good, if you didn’t, you will need to provide some explanation (or excuses XD). For people that couldn’t join that week, you will need to provide your sprint15 (review & goal) within 24 hours.

Every participant’s sprint goals will be publicly displayed through a discord bot in #sprint2strive, we hope this can have a friendly competitiveness/motivation effect.

How to join?

Sprint15 will happen every Sunday (bi-weekly) at 10:30 pm GMT+8 starting this Sunday, May 1st. Please head over to #sprint15 (voice channel) a few minutes earlier, we will try to keep it short. If you’re not able to join for the week, feel free to leave your sprint15 (review & goal) in #sprint2strive.

Lastly, we’re not teaching assistants and we’re not here to supervise you or anything, it’s all based on “helping everyone” objective, in the end, the time you spent and the success you received are still yours, we can only support each other, Cheers!
